一、 辦理宗旨：
當代印度系列講座為印度台北協會與國家圖書館合作辦理之系列活動，主要辦理宗旨係希藉此機會向臺灣民眾介紹當代印度文化和社會的多樣性及活力。講座內容將涵蓋各面向之主題，如印度社會的多樣性、佛教、印度旅遊景點、印度電影、印度舞蹈、印度音樂、印度戲劇以及印度的多元文化等主題。每場演講亦有印度文化表演，以增添講座內容之印度風情。
二、 主辦單位：國家圖書館、印度台北協會
三、 活動地點：國家圖書館文教區3樓國際會議廳（臺北市中山南路20號）
四、 辦理時間：自108年7月21日至109年5月24日止，預計辦理6場，場次規劃如下：

Introduction: India Taipei Association, in collaboration with National Central Library, presents ‘Contemporary India: Talk Series’ in Taipei City. The Talk Series aims to introduce the diversity and vibrancy of Contemporary Indian culture and society to Taiwanese friends. The Talks will cover topics such as diversity of the Indian society, Buddhism, tourism sites of India, Indian movies, Indian dance & music & theatre and multi-cultural aspects of India. Each Talk will also feature an Indian cultural performance.
