■ 講座介紹

本場演講內容主要是探討印度電影在過去一百年之演變及其多樣性。寶萊塢的舞蹈和音樂往往是人們在談論到印度電影時第一個浮現的印象。然而，除了寶萊塢舞蹈和音樂，印度電影產業從北到南，從西到東都不相同。印度影業創造了知名導演如薩雅吉雷，他的作品反映了對人類生命的關懷。本演講也將談及寶萊塢經典電影《寶萊塢生死戀》，以及在臺灣十分受歡迎的《三個傻瓜》和《我和我的冠軍女兒》等熱門的當代印度電影作品。

■ 講者簡介　鄭秉泓／影評人、影展策展人、講師

 鄭秉泓影評人是電影評論家、影展策展人和講師，其作品已在眾多媒體中出現過，他自己也經營一電影部落格，同時也是《臺灣電影愛與死》（2010）、《她殺了時代：重訪日本電影新浪潮》（2017）以及《臺灣電影變幻時：尋找臺灣魂》（2019）等書的作者，鄭影評人關注印度電影發展已超過20年。身為2013年至2017年高雄電影節的策展人，鄭老師介紹了許多印度電影，他亦是《寶萊塢的莫札特：A.R.拉曼》（2009）以及臺北文學閱影展專書《觀照‧薩雅吉雷》（2019）的合著者。

■ Introduction of the Talk

The Talk will focus on evolution of Indian Cinema in last hundred years and its diversity. Bollywood dance and music is what comes to people’s mind when they think about Indian cinema. Apart from Bollywood dance and music, Indian movie industry varies from North to South and from West to East. Indian Cinema produced luminaries like Director Satyajit Ray whose work reflected the care for human life. The Talk will feature Bollywood classics like Devdas. Contemporary hits like 3 Idiots and Dangal which were hugely popular in Taiwan will also be part of Talk.

■ Introduction of the Speaker

Ryan Pin-Hung Cheng is a Film Critic, Film Festival Programmer and Lecturer. Ryan’s works have been featured in numerous media outlets. He runs a film blog and is the author of The Love and Death of Taiwan Cinema (2010), She killed the Era: Revisiting the Japanese New Wave (2017) and Taiwan Cinema in Transition: In Search of True Taiwan Spirit (2019). Ryan has been following Indian Cinema for more than 20 years. As Programmer of Kaohsiung Film Festival from 2013-2017, Ryan presented many Indian films. He is the co-writer of A. R. Rahman Music Genius of Bollywood (2009) and retrospective of Satyajit Ray festival booklet (2019).
