■ 講座介紹
林保堯教授和魏二郎顧問於本次演講中將探討印度佛教藝術豐富多樣性的延續和保護。講座將藉由印度八大世界著名的佛教聖地（其中倫比尼係位於尼泊爾）追溯佛陀的人生旅程。該講座將重點介紹當代印度佛教文物在加爾各答、德里、孟買、馬圖拉和鹿野苑博物館的文化保護。此外，講座將涵蓋與印度佛教相關的聯合國教科文組織世界遺產地，包括洞穴和佛塔。兩位講者都曾在印度進行多次深度旅行，也將分享他們在印度旅遊的精采遊歷。
■ 講者簡介 林保堯／國立臺北藝術大學名譽教授、魏二郎／大傑旅行社顧問
林保堯教授為日本國立筑波大學藝術學博士，自2014年起任國立臺北藝術大學（北藝大）名譽教授。於此之前，林教授1985年至2013年於北藝大教授佛教藝術和南亞藝術。在其任教期間，林教授曾至印度和亞洲其他國家進行了多次佛教藝術實地考察。
魏二郎先生現任大傑旅行社的顧問，他是規劃及帶領印度佛教相關主題旅行最有經驗的導遊之一。從1978年到2014年，他走訪了八大佛教聖地108次。魏顧問於1978年至2013年間曾任真理大學觀光系的兼任講師。

■ Introduction of the Talk
Prof. Lin Bao-Yao and Advisor Wei Er-Lang in their Talk will explore the continuity and conservation of rich diversity of Indian Buddhist Art. The Talk will trace the life journey of Buddha through 8 world famous Buddhist sacred sites in India (One of them, Lumbini, is in Nepal). The Talk will highlight the cultural preservation of Buddhist artifacts in Contemporary India in museums in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Mathura and Sarnath. In addition, the Talk will cover the UNESCO World Heritage sites related to Buddhism in India including Caves and Stupas. Both the presenters have travelled extensively in India and will also share their experiences of travel of Buddhist sites in India.
■ Introduction of the Speaker
Lin Bao-Yao is the Emeritus Professor of Taipei National University of the Arts since 2014. Prior to this, he taught Buddhist Art and South Asian Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts from 1985 to 2013. During his teaching years, Professor Lin led many field study tours for Buddhist Art to India and many countries in Asia. Professor Lin is the Ph.D. in Art from University of Tsukuba, Japan.
Wei Er-Lang is the Advisor of Hero Travel Service in Taipei. He is one of the most experienced tour guides for Buddhist travel to India. From 1978 to 2014, he visited 8 Buddhist sacred sites 108 times. Advisor Wei was the Adjunct Lecturer of Department of Tourism at Aletheia University in New Taipei from 1978 to 2013.
