英美近年來的語言教學強調「知識內容與語言結合」(Content & Language Integrated Learning, CLIL)，我們的十二年國教課綱也反映了這趨勢，強調學習不以學科知能為限，應關注與生活的結合，真實生活中遇到的問題不分科目，必須綜合跨領域的知識予以活用。蘇正隆教授打算以生活周遭的蔬菜水果為例，說明知識內容與語言結合的學習，讀英文會更有趣，可讓我們在全球化的時代具有真正的英語力。

Transitioning from Picture Books to Early Readers

內容介紹 

Reading proficiency and comprehension are highly dependent on a child’s successful experiences when transitioning from picture books to early readers. Illustrations in picture books can provide meaningful visual context clues to support simple stories. During this presentation, critical text and format clues in early readers will be shared that can assist a child’s growing capacity for new vocabulary, characters, storylines and enjoyment!
